Booking Guidelines, Simplifying Your Reservation Experience

Advance Bookings

Reservations can be made no more than 10 months in advance to ensure availability and proper planning.

Check-in and Check-out Times

Check-in begins at 12:00 PM, and check-out is strictly by 10:00 AM. After hours check-ins are available, prior arrangement required with reception.

Dump Point

There is no black water dump point on site, the closest dump point is 2km away, along Captain Cook Drive next to the Council Depot.

Pet-Free

Though we cherish pets, our no dog policy exists to nurture a peaceful environment for all, ensuring your nature getaway remains undisturbed.

Deposit Holding

At management’s discretion, deposits may be held for 12 months for future bookings, offering flexibility for rescheduling.

Site Allocation

Please be aware that no particular site is guaranteed for any guest, and site number allocation is entirely at the discretion of management.

Entry Rights

We reserve the right to refuse entry into the park at our discretion for any reason, while complying with Queensland anti-discrimination laws.

Cancellation Policy, Clarity and Fairness in Every Booking

Cancellation Fee

All cancellations will incur a deduction of the first night’s fee.

Advance Cancellation Refunds

Refunds for cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival, less the first night’s fee. Inclement weather is not valid for a refund.

Last-Minute Cancellation Refunds

Cancellations less than 14 days prior to arrival may receive refunds only if accommodations are resold, less the first night’s fee.

Late Arrival Notification

Failure to notify of cancellation or to arrive by 10 AM the day after the scheduled arrival date may result in booking cancellation without a refund.

Unused Bookings

No refunds for any unused part of your booking.

No Show Policy

No refunds are issued for “no shows.”

Guest Obligations, Ensuring a Safe and Comfortable Stay for All

Sullage

Grey water must not flow onto the ground due to health regulations. Communal grey water disposal point on site.

Bicycles & Scooters

Permitted in the park only between 7:30 AM and dusk, at a speed of 5 km/h.

Campfires

Allowed on beachfront sites and others at management discretion, in an approved receptacle. Chainsaws are strictly prohibited.

It's such a beautiful spot to camp right on the beach. One of the cleanest facilities we have used while camping. No cabins, just camp sites. Owners were lovely & friendly.
